I’ve been living on Kingsland Road for the last two years and in that time I only ever visited three of the restaurants along its length. Earlier this year, I realised that was a pretty poor effort from someone who claims to like food. Like why did I keep returning to the same Vietnamese place every time? And why hadn’t I ever dared to visit one of the inhospitable Ghanaian restaurants?

So I decided to embark on a quest. A mission to eat at every single restaurant on the road, from the lowliest kebab joint to the trendiest of pubs. We counted them up and there were a lot. Like nearly 70. But undaunted and accompanied by my girlfriend, friends and family, I set off. This blog is the result and we’ll be updating it as we eat our way up the road.
